We are four days into autumn and right on cue the weather has turned coolish and, as always at this time of year, my thoughts turn again to tropical Far North Queensland. It's nice to dream that I could spend my declining years in a reclining chair on a tropical beach but I am not only running out of time but also out of energy to ever make such a big move again.
And then there is the one deciding factor which is that I could never find a house with the required lay-out to meet all my needs - see sketch above.
