More scanning before the mice get to them ...

Walking the Kokoa Track; still another 86.9 kilometres to go. Yours truly on left

After days of strong winds we finally can be outside again and so should I be, but I've got hooked on scanning my old photos. Here are some from 1976 in no particular order and of no particular significance:

Imita Gap; only 6.7 kilometres done and still smiling; yours truly on left

On the far left is Tony Tanner who was killed in 1978 when a PMV smashed into his car

My old "rubberband" VW 1200 on Ela Beach; the library is in the background

My house in the sticks of Gerehu; you wouldn't want to go there now without an armed police escort. And what a comedown it was after my last job in Burma! What madness possessed me to chuck in that perfect job with the French oil company in Burma? How this tragic turn came about is best explained here
