I don't know what's worse: watching the more than three hours of the movie "Gone with the Wind" or reading the more than a thousand pages of the book. I have done neither, but I have just completed another email exchange with our seemingly keen prospective buyer who keeps pushing me to accept his offer on nothing more substantial than this long email exchange:
I really had to restrain myself from commenting on "I hope you're [sic] decision ...". The things I have to do to get this deal over the line.
His last email reads:
Remember the famous line in "Gone with the Wind" when Clark Gable dismisses Vivien Leigh with a "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn" ?
Well, that's how I feel about selling "Riverbend". If it happens, it happens; if it doesn't, it doesn't. Time will tell — and a few more emails, no doubt.
